Twilight

When I was lost in a dreary landscape

And there was no place to escape

When there was no one around me

And there was nothing that I could see

I realised 

I was all alone

I was all alone

When the feelings of melancholy started surrounding me

When the anxious thoughts started bounding me

When the monstrous fear started gripping me

I realised 

I was all alone

When the hope and shine left my eyes

And my ears could take no more lies

And I had cried enough that my eyes became dry

I looked up and saw the sun vanishing from the sky

I realised 

I was all alone

I was all alone

But I could see a faint glimmer of light

Even though it was not so bright

It was Twilight!! 

Different colours were merging in the sky

Revealing one of the most beautiful sight

The fading colours illuminated my dull eyes

And I realised

I was not alone

Soon the colors will fade away

And the sky will conver itself in a blanket- black and grey

But this brightness would not leave my eyes

My eyes will always shine bright

Like the full moon in the dark night
