Midnight Moon
Sauntering in the corridor
Wandering through the halls
Lurking in the shadows
Of the palace's aged walls
Flambeau light illuminating her eyes
Midnight music pouring in her ears
She was ambling in the darkness
Leaving behind all her fears.
Startled by a gigantic door
Her feet stopped moving
Bedazzled by its beauty
She decided to move in
Pushing the door vigorously
She entered an enormous library
Feeble, faint light filled in the room
As the place looked dark and dreary
Engulfed by its unbounded beauty
She gaped at the expansive bookshelves
Suddenly a loud thud started her
As she realised presence of someone else
Enigmatically she looked around
Creepy golden eyes staring hers
Bewildered for a moment she realised
It was just a cat with black fur.
She wandered around the bookshelves
Their iron handles covered with rust
Books were sleeping peacefully in them
Under the blankets of the dust
She stood up on the staircase
Her eyes devouring the books
Her eyes landed on the classics
As she picked her favourite book
Tales of two cities as the title read
She opened the years old book
Covered with dust and dirt
Still how great it looked!
The book was autumn
It's pages yellow and crisp
It smelled of wood and earth
She wondered how beautiful anything could exist!
Flipping through its pages
Something caught her eyes
A letter concealed in its pages
As she was surprised
She picked the letter up
As she began to read
"You left me alone here
In this dark lonely place
You took away with you
My eye's shine and grace
Standing on the Blackfriars
Reminds me everything of you
The beautiful memories we shared
That only you and me knew
I remembered that day my friend
When you accidently hit my neck with seraph blade
I remember the horror and pain in your eyes
How much you looked afraid!
The wound has healed completely
Engraving a scar on back of my neck
I could feel the pain you feel
Looking at my scar
I know my brother
You still regret
Since the day you went away
I have stopped talking much
There is no one to hear me
And my words remain unspoken and unheard
I can still hear you playing violin
In the glimmer of moonlight
I can still hear your faint voice
In the darkest of the nights
Return back my brother
Return back again
Return back my happiness
That you took away"

26 May 1886
Her eyes widened in incredulity
She shooked her head in disbelief
She could feel the pain of the friends
As her heart filled with grief
Suddenly a voice startled her
A smooth and sensuous tone she heard
A man stood behind her
She didn't realise when he entered
His blue eyes shining like pearls
His body glowing in moonlight
Dark black hair curving down his face
Creating beautiful heavenly sight
He said I am caretaker of library
Miss return back to your place
Wandering alone here
Is not at all safe
Closing down the book
She paved her way to the door
Suddenly her eyes lingered on a violin
Whose beauty couldn't be ignored
Mesmerized by its beauty
She rushed towards it
Abruptly she was startled by his voice
Don't touch it
Miss you can't touch it, he said
It's belongs to our master's friend
He gifted this to upr master
As he neared his end
They walked into the silence
As they moved out of the palce
He turned towards her
Revealing his bright shining face
Smiling at her brightly
He said miss you're fortune
You discovered some untold and unheard
Secrets of this palce
Befuddled for a moment
She didn't realise what he said
He turned around and walked in the corridor
As bright moonlight fell on his bare neck
She started moving back to her room
But a thought stuck her brain
She swiveled around to see him
He was walking in moonlit lane
There was a scar on his neck
Which was shining bright
She stared at him in horror
As he vanished from the sight
